You don’t need to consume a lot of peppers to get this effect, though. The average salsa recipe has between four and eight chili peppers. Peppers contain a lot of vitamins A and C, calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, and fiber. They are low in sodium and fat free with 2 calories per cup.
