A lot of people want to start working out their bodies and get fit, though with so many different options available, it can sometimes be difficult to know where or how to start. Which exercises will be the most effective at helping you achieve the best results? To add to this, most of us have very busy schedules and may not have enough time to fit in a good workout, so we need a training program that is short and effective.

Cardio Strength TrainingCircuit training has been designed as a quick and effective exercise regime that uses both strength and aerobic exercises in a way that gives the user a quick full body workout in a fraction of the time that it usually takes. You may be put off by the “get results in less time” claims; professional trainers and nutritionists have designed this exercise. It was previously believed that exercise programs must be done for a certain length of time for them to be effective, though this has been proven wrong.

Users of this training program have reported great results from doing the quick fix exercise and in some cases have even found it more effective than regular training programs. To maintain these results, you must follow the program correctly and do regular workouts. Another way to think about it is if you ran from the front to the back of your house you could cover the distance quite quickly. If the front and back of your house were miles apart, then you would slow down your pace. Most people run over long distances to keep their heart rate increased for a long period of time and increase the amount of fat being burnt off.

Circuit training condenses the exercise activities into a short period of time, though your heart rate goes up and stays up. You actually achieve the same amount of exercise in 30 minutes as you do over a longer stretched out training period. Both strength exercises and aerobics are needed to give you a full workout.

During circuit training you use a number of different strength exercises and alternate between them. Time yourself for one minute per exercise. You may want to just use one or two exercises and do several repetitions of the same exercise. Once you gain more strength and increase your endurance, you can then lengthen the time limits.

This is an intense type of exercise and there are no pauses after each exercise. You must keep the pace going to get effective results. This constant activity ensures that you achieve a good full body workout over a short time period.

A good way to approach the exercise is to workout specific areas each session. For example, you could start by working out your upper body then move onto your lower body another day. It’s a good idea to keep track of exactly when you work out a certain part of the body and leave a gap of at least 4 or 5 days before working out that part again. Your body and muscles need some time to repair from a workout; over exercising can lead to injuries.

Circuit training is a great option for those with busy schedules or people wanting to achieve good results in a short time. Using both strength exercises and aerobics this form of training is effective and convenient.
