Obesity is a serious health problem in the United States. The number of people suffering from obesity is higher now than it ever has been in the past. Obesity is something that needs to be taken seriously. We need to figure out how to help obese people get rid of the excess weight or else they can have serious health risks that affect them and society as a whole.
Obesity increases a person’s risk of developing many serious health problems and causes people to miss out on a lot of life. They can’t walk very far, which is limiting; they have a hard time going up and down stairs, which makes going many places difficult; they find it hard to get reasonably priced clothes that fit, which affects their finances; and everything they do in their daily life is harder and takes longer than it does for other people.
While people who suffer from obesity want to change their life, they often wait for someone to tell them what to do and to help them get healthy. Obesity is not an excuse to avoid responsibility for your own life.
Obesity is caused by underlying medical conditions in some cases. There can be glandular problems or thyroid issues for some people. However, obesity is generally related to a sedentary life, a poor diet, and laziness. People who are obese should take a good look at themselves and realize what they are doing to their bodies and to their health. They need to accept that the only way to look and feel better is to lose weight. It is not easy to lose weight but you can work with physicians and other medical experts who can help you reclaim your life and get healthy.

In some cases, obesity can get so bad that a person cannot even get themselves out of bed. Obesity can lead to fatal medical problems like a stroke or a heart attack in extreme cases. All of these health issues need to be taken seriously. They have a very negative effect on a person’s life. When it comes to treating obesity, the first thing you should do is talk to your physician and have them give you a referral to a trainer and a nutritionist who will help you get started on the path to a healthy life.
Obesity cannot be ignored and the government is starting to step in and take action to help Americans resolve this issue. More and more information is being released about the dangers of obesity. However, the only person that can change your life is you.

Childhood obesity is now a main dilemma inside the USA. It can be a lot more difficult than ever for children to lose weight. We have rapidly food restaurants at every corner, new snack foods arriving at grocery shops every week and computers and video games to create even the most active child lead a sedentary life. Did I mention poor nutrition in the schools due to the administrations finding kickbacks from snack food vendors? It is no wonder more than half of American children now are overweight, and half of those youngsters are obese!
I need desperately to get in shape. I’m approaching 40 and OUT OF SHAPE! So much so that everyday tasks are hard to do and sometimes breathtaking. I want to go to the gym, I feel better after I do, but gosh it is so hard to just GO. Any advise?
